Xiaomi 17 Pro series to be launched ahead of 2026 New Year
According to Xiaomi’s official Weibo account, the ‘New Year Flag’ template for the Xiaomi 17 Pro series phones ‘Enjoyable Back Screen’ has been officially launched—allowing users to record their 2026 goals directly on the back screen.
According to reports, users can go to Settings > Enjoy Back Screen > Back Screen Personalization > New Year Flag’ to get started. Select an image template, enter your New Year’s resolution, and then apply it with just one click. It’s the early launch keeping eye on New Year 2026, while they will launch another Xiaomi 17 Ultra in 2026
Xiaomi had previously released three limited-edition watermarks for the Surge OS 3 system to celebrate New Year’s Day 2026. From December 20, 2025, to January 10, 2026, users could use these features by simply upgrading ‘Xiaomi Album – Edit’ to version 2.0.5.0.5 or higher through the app store, and then pulling down the menu in the camera mode to access these watermarks
