Samsung Galaxy A37, A57, and S26+ Get TUV Certified with Battery & Charging Revealed

Flipping the entire schedule this year, reports suggest a major change for the Galaxy A37, A57, and S26 lineup. The Galaxy A57 and A37 are expected to launch earlier in mid-February, ahead of the flagship Unpacked event allegedly set for February 25th. Although these launches are still one month away, we already have some preliminary battery and charging details to share with you.

Galaxy A37

Revealing specs for all to see, Samsung had the S26+ cleared by TUV, where its certification listing confirmed both battery and charging details. While the rated capacity of this device is 4,755 mAh, Samsung will surely advertise it as a typical 4,900 mAh cell. Interestingly, that’s the exact same number the S25+ had last year.

TUV also spilled the charging details for the Galaxy S26, confirming 45W support. As far as power goes, nothing’s really changed in this generation. The database also tipped us about the Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 charging speeds, with the latter’s battery size also revealed in the file. Additionally, here you can see approximate prices that fluctuate based on carrier deals, storage capacity, and sales.

Galaxy A57’s battery capacity wasn’t given away by TUV, but the listing did reveal that it supports a 45W input. This is identical to last year’s Galaxy A56. Galaxy A36 had also jumped to 45W charging speed previously, which was a huge improvement for the device.

Galaxy A37

TUV certified the Galaxy A37 too, verifying that the true capacity of its battery is 4905mAh. However, its typical capacity might actually be 5,000mAh, or even 5,100mAh if we are lucky. Rated for a 45W charging speed, this newcomer shows that all three phones are almost walking the same line regarding power specs.

The details are still unraveling, but the leaks are exciting! We know that the Galaxy S26+ will rock the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for the global market. In comparison, the Galaxy A57 5G is obviously less powerful with a rumored Exynos 1680. However, the Galaxy A37 5G is right on its tail, packing the expected Exynos 1480 SoC.
