The iQOO 15R will be launched in India soon, the company announced on Tuesday. Anticipated to arrive as the second model in the iQOO 15 family, following the flagship iQOO 15 introduction in November 2025, the handset is confirmed to sport a checkered pattern rear panel. While the company has yet to reveal any details, teaser images reveal the presence of dual rear cameras.

Nipun Marya, CEO of iQOO India, teased the launch in India of the iQOO 15R in a post on X. Though its launch date remains under wraps, with the post mentioning it is ‘Coming Soon’, the teaser image reveals a square-shaped floating camera module with rounded edges. Similar to the flagship iQOO 15, an LED flash is positioned outside the camera deco.
Ahead of its launch in India, the upcoming handset can be seen in a grey colourway, featuring a checkered pattern with a multi-tone finish on the rear panel. Apart from this, the smartphone features curved edges. On the right side of the frame, antenna bands appear to run above and below the power and volume buttons.
The teaser highlights that the iQOO 15R will run OriginOS, the software the company introduced in November with the flagship iQOO 15. Ahead of its launch in India, it remains unconfirmed whether it may run Android 16-based OriginOS 6, but the prospect remains exciting.
According to reports, the iQOO 15R could arrive as a rebranded version of the iQOO Z11 Turbo launched in China last week. It may be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, which also powers the upcoming Motorola Signature in India and the OnePlus 15R.
Confirmed to sport a 6.59-inch display in China, the iQOO Z11 Turbo will be equipped with a 200-megapixel ‘ultra-clear’ primary camera. As we wait for its launch in India, the handset is also teased to offer an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and IP68 + IP69-rated dust and water resistance. It features rounded corners, a metal frame, and a glass rear panel for a robust build.
