Ahead of the iQOO 15 Ultra’s early February release, Product Manager @戈蓝V provided a detailed explanation regarding the smartphone’s revolutionary shoulder buttons.
According to its introduction, the iQOO 15 Ultra will be the first to feature ‘Super-Sensitive Touch Shoulder Buttons’ designed to help users improve their control ahead of launch IQOO 15R in India. Strategically located on the left and right sides of the main button area, these buttons allow fingers to rest naturally when playing games horizontally. Supporting rich mapping capabilities such as combos and shortcut functions, popular FPS games will include built-in adaptive presets, requiring no complicated settings.
In terms of hardware and software technology, the shoulder buttons feature an industry-leading 600Hz touch sampling rate. Utilizing dual independent control chips to achieve independent instruction transmission, the system is further enhanced by a brand-new anti-sweat algorithm.
He added that compared to traditional press-type shoulder buttons, the iQOO 15 Ultra’s shoulder buttons fit seamlessly with the body, offering strong sweat and water resistance while preventing dirt accumulation. Combined with a linear motor to simulate a delicate tactile feel, they ensure consistent tactile feedback even after prolonged use. With zero mechanical wear, their lifespan is virtually unlimited. Furthermore, they eliminate the reset issues associated with physical buttons, resulting in low latency—making continuous light touches effortless even after extended use.
The previously announced iQOO 15 Ultra offers 2077 Streamer Orange and 2049 Cold Blue color options, claiming to ‘interpret the ultimate exploration of future technological aesthetics.
According to a post by blogger @DigitalChatStation today, the iQOO 15 Ultra features the industry’s largest fan, a large independent air duct, and a massive 7400mAh battery. The device packs a 50MP 3X CIPA 4.5 periscope telephoto lens, a 091640 super-large dual-axis motor, and upgraded 1115 coaxial symmetrical dual speakers.
