Xiaomi’s founder, chairman, and CEO Lei Jun has confirmed that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be officially unveiled next week. With the Xiaomi 17 Ultra launch timeframe now officially set, expectations are soaring for Xiaomi’s next flagship smartphone as users look forward to major upgrades in performance in photography, and overall premium experience

According to an earlier report from IT Home, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra-internally codenamed “Nezha” will retain the signature circular camera module design seen on the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. Under the hood, it is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Ultra 5th‑generation flagship chipset and come pre-installed with Hyper OS 3.0.
For global users, the international version of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is also said to support satellite communication, ensuring more reliable connectivity in remote or signal‑challenged areas.In addition, a new Xiaomi device with the model number 25125PS17S passed 3C certification from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on November 19. This product is reportedly a new professional photography handle that can also function as a power bank. It is described as an exclusive imaging accessory for the Xiaomi 17 Ultra and is touted as the first accessory to receive full certification for the 5th‑generation Snapdragon 8 Ultra platform.
